This platform, certified IBiSA, is an integral part of the Paris-Sud node of the FRISBI infrastructure. The institute hosts several equipment allowing analyzes that range from the transfer of electrons to the three-dimensional structures, to the production of proteins.

It gives access to heavy optical and magnetic spectroscopies:

  • absorption and electron fluorescence (4-300K and 1-4000 atm).
  • super-resolution fluorescence optical microscopy
  • Raman, Raman resonance, Infrared absorption
  • high-resolution Raman imaging
  • RPE, RPE high field
  • optical and magnetic spectroscopies resolved over time.

It consists of:

  • 5 RPE spectrometers including two high field (all upgraded since 2007)
  • 7 fully equipped Raman spectrometers (all acquired since 1998 except two)
  • 3 FTIR spectrometers, one of which was solved over time (acquisition 1997, 2007, 2010)
  • 3 complete measurement benches for time-resolved optical spectroscopy (picosecond, nanosecond, and micro / milli for whole-cell measurements).
  • 2 sets of measurements for super-resolution fluorescence optical microscopy (2014, 2016).
